HISTORY
PEEL PARK
OUR STORY
ESTABLISHED in 1995.
Peel Park FC was formed in 1995, evolving from Park Inn FC, who had played in the Accrington & District Football League since the late 1980s. Since then, we have competed in the East Lancashire Football League, including spells in the top division, most recently in 2020/21 and 2021/22.
The club has lifted the East Lancashire Second Division Cup and won the Bob Little Cup twice, in 2005 and 2025. Our youth section added another proud achievement in 2024/25, when our newly introduced Under-18s became league champions after an undefeated league campaign.
In 2023/24, we returned to the historic Peel Park ground, formerly home to Accrington Stanley, after a six-year absence. Extensive improvements made our return possible, while a 20-year lease with Lancashire County Council and Peel Park Primary School secured a lasting home for the club.
